About Me
I am a Marine Ecologist currently doing my PhD in Environmental Biology in Shiels Lab at the University of Manchester. My project focuses on the heart transcriptome of the Greenland shark to understand the biological processes that allow them to exhibit an extended longevity. My main interests are Population Genetics and Conservation, and the use of omics tools to understand the biological processes in marine fishes.
